Child Care Credential |
 |
The Child Care Administration
credentialing system is here. Credentialing is voluntary
program for individuals in family and center programs.
Unlike accreditation, credentialing focuses on an
individuals growth in training and professionalism.
Credentialing through CCA involves
attending Core of Knowledge approved training and
being involved in Professional Activity Units. We
will be noting on our training calendar which of our
trainings are Core of Knowledge trainings. Examples
of Professional Activity Units are being a member
in a local, state or national child care professional
organization, being a presenter at a local, state
or national child care professional organization,
being a presenter at a local, state on national child
care conference, being a volunteer at Child Care Links
Resource and Referral center, etc.
For more information, call The
Child Care Credential office (CCA) at 410.767.7852.
